All Natural Fly and Insect Control

Article by:  Gina Hery

"FlyAway" Organic Insect Control is a great way to eliminate your insect problem.

“FlyAway” was demonstrated to me at the Western States Horse Expo in Sacramento California.  The booth was manned by Rick Silva, who picked up a small personalized spray bottle and moistened the back of his hand, stating that was all I need to kill a black widow.  (During spring and summer, my residence gets unwanted varieties of poisonous spiders and insects that are an annual problem where my horses and I live.)   He went on to say, that one fluid ounce of the concentrate dilutes into a full gallon of water, to create the natural insect spray.  It claims to eliminate the fly problem at all stages; eggs, larvae and adult flies.  The company allowed a sample for a personal trial.  So, I was excited to get the product home to try it at my barn!

What I love about this product is that you can use it right on your horse too.  Not only has it helped keep the fly population from coming into my house, it has also helped eliminate a multitude of insects that I planned to tackle this year with an expensive exterminator.  My biggest concern with insecticides is that I also have very small pets, like my ducks, a cat, my Yorkie and Poodles, that are potentially susceptible to the dangerous chemical ingredients that are usually found in other insecticides.  I was hesitant about using any chemicals for my insect problem.  “FlyAway” has eased my concerns, since the natural combination is effective and safe.  Now, we do not have to worry about polluting the environment and potentially harming the animals.

Most ranch areas are affected by several of the same types of pests such as, more than a couple different kinds of flies, mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, wasps, black widows, and even the brown recluse spiders, just to name a few…  Sometimes the insect problem is simply annoying, while other types of pests are potentially dangerous to animals and people.  As all horse and livestock care-givers and pet owners know, flies are just one of the ever present pesky insects during the warmer seasons and in warm or moist climates.  It is typical too, that many insect control products do not work on multiple species such as "FlyAway".  It's just amazing!

Many of us are becoming more conscious about the environment and how our actions affect the health of this planet.  Fortunately, manufacturers are also becoming more aware of this trend and have started producing products with natural ingredients of the products we are using.  I was surprised to discover the organic ingredients that work so impressively well for my barn’s insect control needs.  Here is some interesting information about this product’s ingredients and how they work:
